Merlin Photography

Hi, I'm Nicola. Born in Central London, grew up in Kent, England, currently living life through my lens in the South Hams district of Southern Devon, surrounded by the most beautiful landscape and environment.

My earlier years were spent raising my family and working long hours in a busy career driven sector. My passion of photography started when I had my children and then my grandchildren and the swift approach to adulthood, I wanted to ensure I didn't miss any of those important moments and memories. Picking up my camera and snapping away was my answer. Those memories caught on film for a lifetime.

As my photography developed, this became my passion and relief from a busy hectic carer. That passion grew and grew developing into my everyday hobby and a now my career.

My goal is to show beauty, grace, strength and enthusiasm of people, allowing others to see what I see and through the lens. I do not focus on models as such, but prefer to capture those special natural moments, which then highlights an aspect of who they are or what that perfect moment is truly about. I am also a keen history researcher which allows me to develop my work into the photography of all things beautiful around us and research the history of the building or environment that I have photographed.

My work as a photographer is a real passion of mine and I travel around for bookings of all descriptions when required. You may even just seen my out and about with my camera capturing those beautiful moments of speck while others go about their day.
